Project: 443 West Ave

Elev8 Architecture is working with Uniland Development to design a new five-story graduate student housing building for D’Youville University at 443 West Avenue. The 188-unit wood-frame development includes resident amenities and flexible commercial space intended to serve both tenants and the surrounding neighborhood. Designed with walkability and neighborhood integration in mind, the project features pedestrian access from both West and Plymouth Avenues.
Intended to support D’Youville’s strategic growth, the project strengthens graduate student recruitment efforts and helps relieve housing pressure on nearby residential neighborhoods. The new development replaces a previously proposed medical facility on the site and reflects a renewed vision for the university’s long-term campus evolution.
